I actually think it did make ice climbers overpowered, but not in a way people think. I think the barrier to entry of melee became too easy. Like the skill cap is pretty high regardless of what character you pick for the most part. Some exceptions like puff who is a bit more beginner friendly or even sheik sorta, but as you go to mid level it’s still hard. Hell, even with low level it’s still not necessarily easy. With icies, I legit think wobbling made beginner level players close to mid level and mid level players close to high/top level. I think the fact that most of the top icies players suck now and have no relevance at all is in part due to their over reliance on wobbling
